Korn Ferry is looking for an eager User Experience Research Intern to join their in-house Global UX practice. This intern will get the opportunity to work alongside seasoned user experience professionals to help prepare user research tasks to help shape future iterations of top business tool products. This role requires a self-starter, who enjoys collaboration across disciplines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interactive Design, Interaction Design, Graphic design, Information Science, data science, or a related field.

  • Successfully manage strong academics with extracurricular activities.
  • Working knowledge of the user centered design process.
  • Familiar with various User Research Methodologies.
  • Experience designing personas, user flows & wireframes for web and/or software applications.
  • Experience planning, conducting & communicating user research.
  • Experience working with interactive design tools such as Figma.
  • Proficient writing and verbal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate and present ideas to the team.
  • Highly organized & detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the design team to understand various design & research needs based on strategic business objectives.
  • Compiling and Delivering Competitive Analysis Reports.
  • Aid in Producing UXR deliverables such as research scripts, findings presentations, personas & user journeys.
  • Defining & Planning research studies for various digital products, including screening & scheduling research study sessions.
  • Aid in the recruiting of user research participants both in preparing screening criteria and outreach.
  • Observing, recording and occasionally moderating user research studies.
  • Aiding in the delivery of compelling research insights to be presented to designers as well as key stakeholders.
