POSITION SUMMARY & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Consultant will work closely with Partners and other members of the Executive Pay and Governance Team in London, advising clients on the full range of executive pay issues that our clients deal with. Our clients are mainly UK PLCs with whom we have long term relationships but there is also one-off transaction work, including IPOs and takeovers and we work for private and non UK based businesses as well.

This is a role for candidates with 3-6 years previous experience advising similar companies, working for another executive pay consultancy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct front-of-house client interaction with Non-Executives and Senior Executives in client companies
  • Be the established ‘number 2’ working with a Partner on specific clients
  • Be involved with responding to RFPs and pitches
  • Deliver high quality work that meets expectations for timeliness, accuracy and completeness.
  • Apply the work procedures or approaches needed to address technical challenges in the project.
  • Carry out high quality research into complex regulatory, accounting, tax and governance issues, analyze and manipulate data and produce reports to provide understanding and insights.
  • Presents well with excellent written and oral communications skills

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS  

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, ideally from an maths/science/economics background
  • Outstanding communicator (written and oral)
  • Team player, can deal with pressure that comes with managing high quality clients and tight deadlines
  • Results and solution focused while managing complex situations
  • 3-6 years’ experience at a pay consultancy. Possibly consider in-house executive reward expertise for part of this experience
