Our consultant will join our growing Total Rewards business, and in particular to support our Executive Pay and Governance offering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support our Total Rewards Senior Client Partners, and Principals to deliver high quality reward advice to our Board, C-Suite, and HR clients.
  • Deliver high quality work and analytics that meets expectations for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Perform basic client research, pulling client company information and reward arrangements from publicly disclosed sources, developing pitch decks and proposed solutions under supervision.
  • Provide critical analytical support across various reward engagements including salary analysis and remuneration benchmarking, reviews of market trends and reward practices, reward strategy, review, and redesign of short term- and long term- incentive plans, remuneration report drafting, and pay regulation compliance and effectiveness reviews.
  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement through attending client meetings to gain insight into client needs during business development calls and share key insights and findings for current engagements.
  • Uses project management skills, technologies, and Korn Ferry tools and resources to support efficient and effective project execution.
  • Attend relevant training courses and seek opportunities for self-development.
  • Developing an understanding of Korn Ferry clients, generally on a sector basis

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Finance, Human Resources Strategy, Economics, Analytics or related area, Masters preferred.
  • Some (ideally 1-2 years) previous relevant business experience, preferably with demonstrated interest in reward/remuneration, and/or executive remuneration specifically. Understanding of reward concepts highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong numerical reasoning, ability to draw insights from numerical data.
  • Excel skills and comfort dealing with large amounts of quantitative data, able to develop visual representations of data and trends.
  • [Ideally] some understanding of financial statements and corporate finance, and disclosure requirements for publicly listed companies
  • [Ideally] some ability to read, interpret, and analyse a remuneration report. 
  • Project management, planning, and coordination skills
  • Hungry to learn continuously on the job and develop new areas of expertise.
  • Adaptability and agility in a fast-moving and fast-changing work environment
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
