Our comprehensive talent suite leverages a combination of proprietary talent IP, talent data, analytics and insights to help customers understand their workforce and existing talent gaps, and deliver targeted talent interventions at scale using HR technology.

Our Product Designer is part of our in-house Global UX practice and Product Design team, responsible for building our next generation suite of web-based products.

Key responsibilities include problem solving design solutions, evolving design systems, communicating thoughtful ideas to stakeholders and delivering polished designs to development - collaborating with UX, Research and Development to achieve this. We are looking for a strategic player who not only has an eye for design, but has an eye on the bigger picture, even when they are focused on one part of the product. This individual needs to be hands on, detail oriented, adaptive and understand iterative design within an agile process. This role requires a self-starter, with strong communication and leadership skills, who is comfortable in leading problem solving and design sessions amongst peers as well as stakeholders.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and provide and encourage feedback from your team and other designers.
  • Ability to synthesize complex wireframes, user paths, and business requirements into thoughtful design patterns and solutions.
  • Ability to communicate and present concepts clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences at various levels of our organization.
  • Ability to employ design thinking and questioning techniques to develop strategies and execution plans where pathways are not always obvious.
  • Ability to apply user research findings to improve design patterns and overall experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple design requests in a timely fashion, with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes to show and demonstrate user flows and design concepts.
  • Ability to create and deliver clean and visually consistent designs with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to partner with development and provide guidance to ensure visual quality assurance.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expert user of Figma
  • Passion for user centered design, usability, product branding, colour theory, typography, accessibility, and design best practices.
  • Proficient in building design systems, design patterns and component libraries – how to maintain and grow them — to evolve the visual integrity of the product.
  • Thorough knowledge of User Experience concepts and processes to allow for rapid design iterations within an agile/lean UX environment.
  • Strong curiosity and a whiz at transforming complex requirements and wireframes into a highly usable, beautiful, functional experience problem solving.
  • Fluent in iterative customer centered product development and rapid prototype development.
  • Expert in rich UI and data visualization design.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for mentoring designers more junior and knowledge-sharing.
  • 6+ years of experience in visual user interface design, software and product design for desktop and mobile cloud-based products.
  • Experience working on B2B, SaaS software
