Job Title: Senior Network Engineer - Security


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our network systems.



Network Design and Implementation:

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient network solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance network capabilities.

Network Security:

  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard the organization's network infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Network Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to maximize efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential network bottlenecks or connectivity issues.

Collaboration and Team Leadership:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align network solutions accordingly.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Generate regular reports on network performance and present findings to stakeholders.

Vendor Management:

  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate, select, and implement hardware and software solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Capacity Planning:
  • Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future network needs and propose necessary upgrades.
  • Recommend improvements to existing infrastructure to accommodate growth.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities.
  • Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail orientated
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts.
  • Familiarity with network automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Project management skills for overseeing network-related projects.
