Position Summary 

Korn Ferry (KF) is looking for a Director of Implementation (Asia and ANZ), to be based in Australia.


The RPO Implementation Director for the APAC region (Asia & ANZ) will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of RPO solutions for our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of the recruitment landscape in the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex RPO implementations, delivering exceptional client satisfaction and leading an experienced team.

You will work as part of a global team to execute local, regional and global implementations within APAC.

As a key part of the APAC RPO Leadership team, this role will be responsible for maximizing resource capacity across the team to deliver high impact, quality implementations, consulting and project support services in the talent management domain to a high level of customer satisfaction. This role will also be responsible for ensuring projects are rolled out within agreed solution scope, timeframes and budget whilst demonstrating project management best practices. The role requires project management experience and deep domain expertise in the implementation of talent acquisition solutions and driving outcomes across all key pillars of the Talent Acquisition platform to elevate and optimise solution performance. Knowledge of and experience working in the APAC region is essential to be successful in this role.

You will develop and/or implement effective communications, change management, risk mitigation, and training program strategies. At all times you will demonstrate the highest level of ethical behaviour & personal integrity. Positive and pro-active communication with stakeholders, peers and colleagues, generosity of knowledge and experience sharing and building effective relationships within and across the business.

A key part of this role is to also support and/or provide input into sales and pre-sales activities as it relates to Implementation, including (but not limited to) RFI/RFP content, client presentations and meetings.


Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities 

Team Management 

  • Staff hiring to ensure team structure delivers to existing and potential requirements in pipeline
  • Active resource management and work requests understood 3-6 months in advance to enable accurate resource management planning
  • Responsibility for team skill and knowledge development

Project Management and Core Deliverables 

  • Achieve implementation of agreed solution design within agreed timelines and executed with positive feedback from all key stakeholders
  • Innovation around project management approach- continued development of methods for implementing solutions

Revenue Growth and Profitability 

  • Understands commercial profitability of solutions

Thought Leadership

  • Provides thought leadership in solution design & strategy to clients & direct reports
  • Actively contributes to innovation & differentiation of KF service offerings
  • Deep understanding of Korn Ferry Solutions and offerings

People and Culture

  • Self manages own performance and accepts responsibility for own learning
  • Provides and accepts feedback
  • Attends, participates and collaborates in all relevant KF meetings & initiatives

Professional Experience/ Qualifications/ Skills

  • Knowledge of one or more Talent Acquisition leading technologies: (i.e. Workday, Taleo, SuccessFactors, SilkRoad, iCims, Kenexa/BrassRing, ADP/Virtual Edge, Cornerstone OnDemand)
  • Knowledge of corporate and/or public entity talent practices
  • Extensive experience managing Talent Acquisition teams OR project management in the TA space
  • Process implementation design experience with business process re-engineering or design skills
  • Experience of co-implementing with different technologies such as: ATS, HRIS, Onboarding systems
    Significant experience leading Change Management workstreams:
  • identifying and mitigating risks
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Visio, Excel, and MS Project to effectively create and manage project deliverables
  • Experience displaying both verbal and written communications skill with the ability to develop effective written materials, facilitate group discussions and present to diverse customer audiences, including executive leadership and client base
  • Ability to travel up to 50% annually
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 15 years related experience
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work on a variety of projects with minimal supervision
