Responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and business partnering to the Manila TDC, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and compliance with HR policies and regulations. This role involves managing payroll and timekeeping, employee relations and compliance, and HR operations and administration while fostering a positive work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll & Timekeeping
- Ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll and timekeeping processing, including the calculation and disbursement of salaries, wages, bonuses, incentives, cash awards, overtime pay, night shift differentials, paid leaves, increments and promotions, and other related timekeeping and compensation.
- Efficiently manages time and attendance records including overtime, night shift differentials, holiday and premium pay, and leave applications among others.
- Oversees the preparation and distribution of pay slips, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to employees.
- Processes final pay, exit clearances, and quitclaim documentation, including the release of BIR Form 2316, within established procedures and timelines.
- Coordinates with payroll service providers and vendors to process payroll accurately and on time and assists in the preparation and verification of service fee payments.
- Acts as the primary liaison between employees and payroll service providers and vendors to gather necessary information, address inquiries, and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Prepares and analyzes various payroll reports and information for management's review and decision-making, including forecasts, budgets, and regular reports and reconciliations.
Employee Relations
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with employees and stakeholders to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Provides exceptional employee support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing conflicts effectively.
- Conducts exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement and to determine separation reasons and related details.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations related to employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Manages employee grievances, implements disciplinary actions, and prepares necessary documentation.
- Manages employee performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Human Resources Operations
- Administers HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance and develops handbooks and related guidelines.
- Assists in developing and implementing HR processes to deliver high-quality HR services.
- Manages employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations/ terminations.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, providing guidance based on labor and employment rules.
