We’re seeking a Principal Product Manager who will drive the development and growth of our solutions focused on employee experienced programs.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Listen product portfolio, our use of third-party surveying platforms, and also internal systems creating and publishing normative data and insights. You will work closely with customers, stakeholders,  developers, designers, and other product managers to deliver products that meet the needs of our diverse and demanding markets.

You will also be involved in researching market trends, customer needs, validating product ideas, prioritizing features, writing user stories, testing prototypes, launching products, and measuring outcomes. You will be the voice of the customer and the champion of the product within the organization.

You’ll partner with the solution Center of Excellence, commercial teams, technical and solution consultants, external vendors, product managers, data science, data engineers, architects, and engineers to contribute to the overall success of the team’s roadmap and initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides the guiding vision for the product and acts as a business leader of the product in alliance with the solution Center of Excellence.
  • Leads and defines product line strategy, product roadmaps, and identifies business opportunities. Analyzes market research to define the competitive landscape and drive innovation.
  • Stays current in market trends relating to Employee Experience and Engagement and the evolution of surveying / reporting capabilities and approaches that enable best in class continuous listening programs.
  • Uncovers customer pain points and identifies market opportunities through constant direct and indirect interaction with customers, prospects, go-to-market leaders, and analysts.
  • Works closely with other business functions to understand needs and translates them into appropriate application functionality, including the Shared Delivery Center technical consultants team.
  • Partners with vendors to understand product growth potential and future opportunities for innovation to enhance and strengthen the Korn Ferry Listen product portfolio and go-to-market.
  • Drives a platform agnostic product portfolio, and assess potential new partnerships in support of product compatibility and the decided go-to-market strategy.
  • Responsible for designing and executing strategy relating to the ongoing development and publication of normative data and insights.
  • Responsible for the data management strategy of data collected from clients
  • Creates business cases and seeks approval for funding from senior leadership.
  • Works with vertical business leaders and go-to-market teams to create, launch, and scale packaged solutions for our market-leading customers to improve their end-user experiences.
  • Identifies opportunities to adopt Artificial Intelligence to drive better user outcomes.
  • Builds strategic partnerships/relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Builds a strategic partnership with the service delivery Center of Excellence and for KF Listen as a stakeholder and co-development partner
  • Works with the Listen Shared Delivery Center and external vendor product teams to deliver products (process, design, build, test).
  • Engages in technical conversations, weighs technology choices, and communicates broadly.
  • Partners with Data Science teams in KF Digital and Korn Ferry Institute to make feature changes including engagement questions, segmentations, data norms, and reports
  • Manages all aspects of product capability throughout the product life cycle, from definition to sunset.
  • Evaluates and reports on current product line performance and usage. Leads the post-implementation support effort from a functional and training perspective.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Creative thinker, problem solver, and innovator.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in product management, preferably in a related industry or field. Experience or familiarity with survey research and Employee Experience Management is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the HR Technology marketplace
  • Experience in conducting market research, customer feedback, user testing, and data analysis to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  • Experience in creating and managing product roadmaps, user stories, specifications, and documentation.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data science, sales, marketing, and customer success, to deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations and business goals.
  • Experience in using agile methodologies and tools to plan, execute, and monitor product development cycles.
  • Experience in integrating products within a suite to connect workflows
  • Experience in delivering ML- or AI-based features
  • Experience in utilizing and managing large data sets along with data analysis partners
  • Experience in launching and evaluating products using various metrics and KPIs, such as user adoption, retention, satisfaction, revenue, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, to communicate product vision, strategy, and value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be willing to work collaboratively with highly distributed teams across different time zones.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical abilities, growth/metrics orientation, and problem-solving acumen.

 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
