Korn Ferry is looking for a UX Researcher to join our rapidly growing product organization in building the next generation of enterprise solutions that power the world’s leading businesses. Our UX researchers are involved early in the product development process—partnering with Product Managers, Designers, and other key roles while interacting directly with stakeholders, customers, and users to ensure insights are shared early to strategically guide the overall product and user experience direction from the very beginning.
Here's what you get to do:
Conduct user research activities, including concept validation, interviews, surveys, observations, and contextual inquiries to uncover user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, develop field study plans, benchmarking, and execute research influencing the product roadmap.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that guide design and product decisions.
Participate in concept testing, iterative design evaluations, and usability assessments to refine features and optimize the user experience.
Provide guidance, tools, and best practices for conducting lightweight testing, gathering user feedback, and disseminating findings efficiently to enable designers and product managers to integrate research into their own processes.
Advocate for human-centered design within the team and the broader organization, ensuring user insights are a central component of product development decisions.
Present research findings to stakeholders at various levels and create compelling narratives to communicate user needs and how they impact business goals.
Continuously refine research methods and tools to improve processes and maximize the impact of UX research across the organization.
What you bring to the table:
Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to choose the best approach based on the research questions and product needs.
Strong experience developing user personas that guide product design and strategy.
Ability to design and conduct end-to-end research studies, from recruiting participants to delivering insights.
Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers, with a deep understanding of the different ways research fits into the product development lifecycle.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate behavioral data into actionable insights that drive product decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade a wide range of stakeholders.
Empathy for users and a commitment to creating experiences that are intuitive, efficient, and valuable.
Experience working with and contributing to Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, and Hypothesis-Driven Design processes.
A portfolio or case studies demonstrating your experience and the impact of your research on product outcomes.
Other Skills and Responsibilities
Knowledge of research tools and platforms for data collection, user testing, analysis, and insight dissemination.
Ability to assess, prioritize, and manage multiple research projects.
Strong organizational skills, ensuring that research outputs are clear and meet stakeholder needs.
Ability to adapt research plans as necessary to accommodate changes to product roadmap priorities.
Excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to lead team workshops and collaborative sessions effectively.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of experience conducting UX research in an Enterprise SaaS environment, ideal in the Human Capital Management, Assessment, and Talent & Development domains.
Hands-on experience with contextual inquiry, observation, user interviews, surveys, and other research methodologies.
A master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, or equivalent experience.
