Associate Principal will work closely with colleagues to help sell and deliver complex and/or customized and/or multi work-stream solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

Associate Principal will work on project teams with more seasoned practitioners to deliver initiatives focusing on rewards, benefits, incentives, performance and other initiatives within Total Rewards & Work Measurement. Individuals at this level exercise judgment in understanding client issues and customizing solutions to fit. They have developed a level of presence and maturity that means they take the lead on defined aspects of a Total Rewards & Work Measurement projects or business development activity.

Individuals will lead relationship management and should be able to sell rewards projects of simple to medium complexity. They should have expertise to engage and mobilize a client in Total Rewards

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Total Rewards subject matter expert with the ability to guide and lead project teams to deliver exceptional value to clients.
  • Deliver high quality work that meets expectations for timelines, accuracy and completeness
  • Support the design or development of solutions for our clients by working as part of a client or opportunity team and leveraging the insights gained through research and analytics.
  • May be the lead consultant/account manager for smaller clients and manage client expectations and satisfaction. May interact with executives of the client in the context of projects. Support senior colleagues on larger, more complex projects potentially leading some client facing aspects of the project in an area of expertise.
  • Where time permits, contribute to winning profitable business by conducting background research, proposal writing, shaping opportunities, pitch preparation and opportunity spotting in clients.
  • Participate in client planning. Lead parts of sales calls/presentations in own expertise area(s) and lead related proposal writing.
  • Work with and coordinate activities with colleagues across teams. Manage peers and more junior resources on projects. Provide guidance and coaching to more junior colleagues.
  • Proactively developing internal relationships outside of team/office including other knowledge experts.
  • Capable of identifying opportunities for other Korn Ferry Digital practices and provide a high level descriptions of these services to clients.
  • Lead an industry or a cluster of industries from rewards standpoint and continue to build rewards database for identified sectors.
  • Build data and database related process knowledge to ensure the standard of delivery are consistent
  • Participate in APAC initiatives building relationships across the region

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • (7+ years) relevant work experience in a consulting firm and/or a client Total Rewards function.
  • Recognized as a go-to person in rewards discipline and is able to scope, design and deliver non-standard solutions to meet client Able to lead core service line work activities with large, complex and/or important clients.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of clients/industries supported and apply business offerings at the senior level.
