Korn Ferry’s Listen practice falls under our Organizational Strategy solution. Korn Ferry is a global leader in employee opinion research. Through customized survey programs, we provide our clients with research-based diagnostic and consulting services to help them improve their business performance. Based on survey results, we work closely with our clients to act with the view to engage and enable their people, attract and retain talent, and improve operating efficiency.

We’re excited to welcome a Consultant who will play a pivotal role in driving employee research in the form of employee engagement surveys; employee life-cycle surveys (e.g., onboarding, exit); and pulse survey offerings to our clients. Delivery Consultants will typically lead project teams in collaboration with KF Client Advisors to deliver solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. For more complex, global projects, this role may be overseeing a specific project component or acting in a supportive role. In this position, you’ll have the chance to contribute to defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Listen product solutions, while collaborating closely with a diverse team including customers, stakeholders, engineers, designers, and fellow product managers.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a client-facing role, so the Consultant should have a strong customer service orientation, comfortable advising on best practices from a project management and operational perspective, including advising on the use of the reporting platforms Korn Ferry uses to administer and report on employee surveys (Qualtrics and Forsta).

The Consultant both oversees and implements projects, hence needs to have a strong attention to detail, given the need to work with key Microsoft Applications, especially Excel, and manage participant files and organizational hierarchies, to name a few examples. The Consultant also needs to be comfortable working with technology, put a high importance on quality through thorough quality control on their work and the work of other team members.

The Consultant needs to function within a team and be a strong team player. This role interacts with other KF Listen consultants, KF’s Service Delivery Centre, staff from KF at large, and, of course, the client team.

Finally, the Consultant will progressively need to develop deep understanding of clients’ business needs and strategic objectives and acts as a strategic advisor, helping clients link survey findings to business and organisational insights, able to advise clients on action planning and change initiatives for organisational improvement.

 Specifically, this person’s responsibilities will include:

 Client Delivery (70%)

  • Participate in project execution as part of the Delivery team on multiple client-facing projects of varying sizes simultaneously; Take a lead role to deliver mid to high complexity projects as a single delivery resource, or with the support of a second delivery project manager depending on project scope and value.
  • For all projects, be aware of and adhere to the contractual obligations, including scope of work, billing milestones, data privacy obligations, etc.
  • For any project in which this position is the single Delivery resource:
    • Manage project completion in PSA (financial system), with respect to hours allocated, invoicing, and forecasting. Manage deliverables against the specifications outlined in the contract
    • Keep Commercial account manager informed about the project, especially during key project milestones (survey administration, dashboard release, project debrief), and scope of work related inquiries.
  • Partner with other Listen team members, internal data processing and organizational analytics teams, as well as Advisory Consultants, to ensure the successful and seamless delivery of project deliverables
  • For all projects, responsibilities will be a combination of tactical and strategic in nature:
    • Tactical: Take a lead tole to manage survey setup; organizational hierarchy creation; participant data management; managing survey launch, emails and resends; trend setup; and dashboard development and deployment. Advise clients on survey best practices and recommended approaches. Support Client Advisots to develop insightful presentations – PPT development and quality control as needed, and support presentation data analysis.
    • Strategic: Takes a supporting, and eventually a lead role in conducting interviews with senior management and other stakeholders, developing questionnaires. Growth opportunities include developing and delivering insightful presentations by leading presentation data analysis of the survey findings and provide recommendations to help clients take action on survey results for organisational improvement, help clients link survey data to other business processes or initiatives.
  • Participates in internal and external client debriefs, and key client meetings
  • Prepare for, facilitate and provide summary notes for weekly meetings with the client
  • Conducts quality control on own work and others' work as needed; Perform necessary checks to ensure deliverables are of the highest quality
  • Advise clients on the Qualtrics/ Forsta platform and KF standard processes
  • Support Advisory resource on presentation data analysis, PPT development and quality control as needed

Practice Operations (30%)

  • Keep accurate records of time spent and record it online on a weekly basis, or as required
  • Attend operational and information meetings for one's team, the Listen practice and the broader company, as schedule with client work permits
  • Support team-member development as appropriate
  • Contribute to process improvement as part of the Listen team as appropriate
  • Participate in training sessions and coaching, including working towards accreditation on the Qualtrics XM Platform

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of full-time experience in an internal or external consulting role or project management capacity
  • Experience with employee survey research preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client management capabilities in order to successfully partner with and advise clients
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring skills
  • Strong work ethic and a personal commitment to excellence, including the ability to balance multiple priorities and provide prompt response to client inquiries
  • Intellectual curiosity, along with the desire to seek new challenges proactively
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office products, namely Excel, Word and PowerPoint, at an intermediate to advanced level

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Psychology, Human Resources, or Business; Advanced degree preferred (e.g., Master's or MBA)
