We’re seeking a Senior Director of Product Management who will lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our learning products, focusing on achieving Product-Market Fit (PMF) and driving scalable growth. Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to deliver market-leading solutions. Collaborate closely with sales, advisory, and marketing teams, aligning efforts to ensure our products resonate deeply with clients and the market. Reporting directly to the GM, you’ll shape the future of our learning portfolio and deliver solutions that make a meaningful impact. 

This position reports into the General Manager, Leadership and Professional Development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides the guiding vision for the product and acts as a business leader of the product.
  • Works closely with other business functions to understand needs and translates them into appropriate application functionality.
  • Leads and defines product line strategy, product roadmaps, and identifies business opportunities. Analyzes market research to define the competitive landscape and drive innovation.
  • Uncovers customer pain points and identifies market opportunities through constant direct and indirect interaction with customers, prospects, go-to-market leaders, and analysts.
  • Creates business cases and seeks approval for funding from senior leadership.
  • Partners with vendors to understand product growth potential and future opportunities for innovation.
  • Works with vertical business leaders and go-to-market teams to create, launch, and scale packaged solutions for our market-leading customers to improve their end-user experiences.
  • Identifies opportunities to adopt Artificial Intelligence to drive better user outcomes.
  • Builds strategic partnerships/relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Works with distributed agile development teams (process, design, build, test) to deliver products.
  • Engages in technical conversations, weighs technology choices, and communicates broadly.
  • Manages all aspects of product capability throughout the product life cycle, from definition to sunset.
  • Evaluates and reports on current product line performance and usage. Leads the post-implementation support effort from a functional and training perspective.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Creative thinker, problem solver, and innovator.
  • 6-8 years of overall enterprise product management experience, including experience in a platform or technical product management role leading complex, technical initiatives across product and engineering teams.
  • Excellent customer skills and organizational skills, the ability to learn new concepts quickly, and be a self-starter.
  • Experience in collecting competitive intelligence, market requirements, and developing strategies and business cases per market segments.
  • Expertise practicing Agile methodologies at scale.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be willing to work collaboratively with highly distributed teams across different time zones.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical abilities, growth/metrics orientation, and problem-solving acumen. 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required
