The Role
We are looking for a Head of International Settlements to join us on one of Korn Ferry's exciting clients. This role is critical in facilitating smooth global financial operations and maintaining the integrity of international financial systems.
Head of International Settlements is responsible for ensuring Operational Risk is managed and mitigated through the existing controls that have been implemented and creating new processes where required.
Excellent product knowledge of Equities/Bonds and processing through existing platforms.
Monitoring of trade date exceptions.
Implementation of cross training within the team to close knowledge gaps.
Assist in managing the implementation of system/process improvements to eradicate manual processes.
Escalating issues to senior management when required. The Settlements Team plays a critical role in managing the settlement process for various financial transactions.
Through their roles and responsibilities, the team ensures timely and accurate settlements, minimizes settlement-related risks, and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements. By fostering effective communication, managing relationships, and continuously improving settlement processes, the Settlements Team contributes to the operational efficiency, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
