The RoleWe are looking for Futures Senior Specialist to join our international client in Warsaw, PL.
Main purposeTo be actively contributing to the day-to-day running of the Futures Operations teams, work across all available resources within the department. To take accountability for limited people responsibilities, co-ordination of production issues.
To ensure that BAU work is completed as per agreed schedules. To develop the role and ensure succession management within this role.
Job locationWarsaw, Poland Hybrid model / onsite for 3-4 days per week
Key responsibilities: Suggest /implement new processes/inefficiencies within the area. On boarding / Assist and integrate with minimum disruption of new business within recognised time restraints. Deal with Ad-hoc requests. Assist junior members of the team with development and knowledge skills appropriate to relevant task in hand. Ensure all relevant Exchange Traded Derivatives are processed and allocated in an appropriate and timely manner. Make sure all previous days kerb trades are monitored & re-advised to Brokers until business is accepted. Perform all relevant daily reconciliations and complete within recognised time restraints. – Hi-lighting and investigation of cash and position breaks. Escalate as deemed necessary. Investigation and resolve Trade related queries and Brokerage fails in a timely manner. Maintenance of system static – GMI/TEO/Clearvision and other applicable systems. Effective escalation to management of all related issues as and when required. To identify and recommend areas of improvement in the maintenance and collation of the Futures Operations Data.
Skills / experience required:Excellent organisation and time management skills. Very good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure Very good interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Very good problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficient in Excel and Word. Solid work experience. Familiar with Operations organisations and/or life of a trade. Experience with reengineering and/or cost savings and efficiency programs. Experience implementing a global project with the ability to internally sell-in strategic direction. Able to establish and maintain relationships at all levels across the organisation.
Personal attributes: Dependable, flexible and reliable individual who is able to show openness to new ideas and concepts, challenging ideals and suggests work a rounds and process improvements.
Good verbal and written communication skills, working independently or part of a Team. Have Commercial Awareness, determination to see the job completed, able to plan activities and carry them through effectively, show Initiative and be self motivated, Problem solving and manage their time sufficiently.
