The RoleWe are looking for an Asset Servicing Analyst to join us on one of Korn Ferry's exciting clients. Highly motivated individual will be required to:
Monitoring, reconciling and corresponding of International and UK corporate action events across all entities of the firm. Responsible for the management and escalation of risk on open CA events. Liaising with internal / external counterparts around Asset Servicing event(s) with timely resolution and appropriate escalation back to senior management on any potential risk(s) to the firm. Dividends / Coupons will be comfortable with processing and understanding of processing Dividends / Coupons across all market(s)
Job locationWarsaw, Poland Hybrid model / onsite for 3-4 days per week
Key responsibilitiesResponsible for the management and escalation of risk associated to open events where the firm hold positions.
Open up discussion with desk(s) on appropriate action required for events where desk/firms hold position and provide details on event(s)
Work with internal and external counterparties ensuring all aspects of CA event has been covered i.e. working with settlement’s team to ensure all open trades are settled prior to key dates on event.
CA bookings - Ensure correct internal and market bookings are reflected on CA events (trades and nostro correction/booking).
CA Reconciliation You must have in place the appropriate reconciliation on all events where we house positions / open trade(s).
Dividends and Coupon Claims - Manage the risk associated with outstanding payables & receivable balances for all internal entities, ensuring appropriate files have been completed.
Client Money Review – Daily review of trade list(s) cash reconciliation(s) across various entities within BGCB notating whether or not funds are required to be segregated or not this will allow the client money process to be reviewed by control team.
SWIFT Payments – Comfortable in with processing SWIFT instructions ie. (MT202, MT599)
Agent Communication - Individual will be comfortable in conversing with agent(s) counterparties and internal areas and trading desks to resolve differences and disputes.
Reconciliation - Daily management of Stock & Cash breaks ensuring management is kept abreast of aged items.
Group Mailbox’s – ensure all queries are dealt with and inbox’s are kept clear at COB.
Firm Positions - Ensure adequate review on conversions, depot transfer for any CA events with the appropriate action taken.
Conversion Process DWACs – Individual will require and understanding on conversion process (DWAC’s) as you will be required to assist within this process
Euclid - Individual will be able to navigate around “EUCLID” as you will be required to use alongside daily task(s).

Personal attributesFront to back understanding on all Asset servicing events. Clear understanding of processing Dividends and coupons. Team Player - As this is a small unit you will be required to cross train on several of other process within the team. Clear professional communication top external and internal clients and with peers Shows initiative in performing work: managing day to day work load, in resolving issues, in escalation of issues to management.
