As our client continue to expand their presence in EMEA, we are establishing a Warsaw-based finance center of excellence to strengthen our global finance operations and enhance control, transparency, and analytical insight across the firm.
We are now expanding our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) shared services capability in Warsaw — a key strategic hub supporting our global finance operations.
Role OverviewThe Head of Shared Services – FP&A will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our Warsaw-based FP&A shared services function.
This role will be pivotal in driving consistency, scalability, and analytical excellence across the firm’s financial planning and reporting processes.
Job locationWarsaw, Poland Hybrid model / onsite for 3-4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & TransformationEstablish and lead FP&A Shared Services Center in Warsaw, setting the strategic direction and operating model for global support across the firm.
Drive the standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of FP&A processes across regions and business lines.
Reviewing and optimizing expense allocation methodologies across the organisation.
Serve as a trusted partner to the Global Head of FP&A and senior finance leadership, contributing to the firm’s financial strategy and operational planning.
Financial Planning & AnalysisEnsure the accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of consolidated financial data and performance metrics.Implement FP&A tools, models, and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making.Partner with global finance teams to ensure alignment of local and corporate financial planning cycles.
Operational ExcellenceEmbed a culture of efficiency, accountability, and client focus across all FP&A shared services operations.Identify and execute opportunities for automation (e.g. Tableau (Insight), Alteryx) and AI related enhancements.Develop and implement governance frameworks and KPIs to monitor and enhance service.
People & Stakeholder LeadershipBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing FP&A team in Warsaw.Attract and retain top finance talent, fostering professional growth and collaboration.Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, and business leadership.
Skills & Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.10–15 years of progressive experience in FP&A, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a global organization.Proven success in building or scaling a shared services or FP&A center of excellence.Strong command of financial modeling, business performance analysis, and management reporting.Experience leading process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative leadership style.Fluent in English and Polish.
