The Strategic Sourcing & Talent Insights Function delivers innovative, cost-effective sourcing solutions to our internal and external clients. We mainly work to find solutions for external clients in our RPO and Projects business. We are a strategic function providing data-driven input and insight to deliver increased efficiency and value for money.

The team cover various areas to support the business:

  • Strategic Sourcing: strategic support for new bids and implementations, ongoing sourcing strategy support
  • Talent Insights: talent market intelligence reports
  • Training: implementations, new joiners, existing team on all topics around sourcing
  • Purchasing: role-specific advice on best channels and purchasing
  • Reporting: regular job board & social media overview to account leaders on the performance of their account

Client Relationship Management
 Overseeing the creation of tailored, inclusive sourcing strategies & market intelligence reports and providing feedback on the output
 Overseeing procurement across all regions, building meaningful relationships with our vendors, and negotiating the best deals
 Creating advertising plans for new and existing clients within the given budget
 Ensuring the smooth running of daily tasks by assigning projects, tracking progress, and providing input to challenging tasks
 Attending virtual events in the talent acquisition space
 Staying up to date with new innovations and technology in sourcing and talent insights
 Develop and maintain knowledge of key client organisations in the target countries, monitor and analyse industry changes
 Conduct interactions with internal & external clients in a timely, professional, and responsive manner
 Identify & communicate continuous improvement opportunities and strategies
 Participate in role briefing with client and contribute to sourcing strategy & process

Team Management
 Leading and motivating a high performing team to achieve our goals
 Provide coaching and development for team – one-on-one, team training sessions to upskill
 Provide and accept feedback.
 Support and implement any corporate decisions regarding operations to maximize team effectiveness
 Lead thorough induction and training of new staff, collaborating with regional People team
 Weekly group catch up with TDC team to communicate initiatives, share project milestones, and facilitate knowledge sharing
 Weekly one-one-one catch up with team leaders to support on their projects, challenges, management initiatives, and personal development.
 Address any key performance issues, and support team leaders to take appropriate performance management measures
 Design yearly promotion plan, and support team leaders in communicating and documenting clear and measurable promotion criteria with selected individuals based on merit
 Facilitate team building activities, along with team leaders to drive engagement and retention
 Coordinate office resources – computers, phones, etc.
 Approve, track and manage team annual leave and sick leave, in accordance with Futurestep policy

Policy & Procedures
 Follow documented Korn Ferry systems/polices/office procedures
 When on-site Follow documented client systems/policies/office procedures

 Follow necessary approval/sign-off process for leave, travel, expenses and expenditure
 Provide information for internal reporting and update systems on timely basis
